The Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is relaunching our deeply successful Candidate Academy to train, teach and mentor potential candidates for any level of political office in Long Beach and greater California. A host of speakers and regional elected officials will present on various aspects of running for office including compliance, hiring a campaign staff, public relations and various important topics in Long Beach. Candidate Academy will be held in person for six weeks every Wednesday evening January 14 - February 18, 2026, from 5:30-7:00pm.
