Vision

The Green Business Council will encourage and facilitate environmental, social and economic business practices in Long Beach through education, outreach, networking and advocacy. We will strive to support existing green sector companies located in the community, to develop an enviroment that will draw new green sector companies to the Long Beach area, and to help raise the level of sustainable business practices used by LBACC members and others within the community.

By joining together, we will help the LBACC business grow and prosper by transforming the greater Long Beach Area into a recognized center for green goods and services that enhance sustainable practices from our business, transportation, infrastructure and residential communities.



Strategic Goals

The Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce
Green Business Council will:

Advocate and envourage business development opportunities for companies that are producing green products or providing green services.

Promote sustainable business practices.

Facilitate business-to-business relationships

Assist with green technology incubation and acceleration.

Better align private and public agencies that have a policy commitment to enviromental sustainability and stewardship.

Grow Green Business Council membership.
